Take the top card (the 1 you’ve memorized) and five other people from the pack. Now location the six cards in two rows of three face down, having your memorized card in the top row on the proper hand (or wherever you want to location it, but bear in mind its position!). Now here?s exactly where the force begins ? ask a volunteer to pick a row. Read the rest of this entry »

I happen to have two aspiring card magicians in my home, and the key word is aspiring, lol.
My husband and son both think they are the “master” of good card tricks, as they both try to out do the other.
My roll in all this, being their practice dummy, not that I’m complaining, as I do find it somewhat amusing.
How many times can one person listen to, and we all are familiar heard this saying, “pick a card, any card.” my gosh, please already.
It was funny to see the looks in their faces, when I finally asked, “hey can either one of you make a card float up out if the deck?.”
All, I recieved were a couple of blank stares.
It was time for mom, to show the boys up, I decide to learn a few cool card tricks of my own.
I picked-up a few decks of cards, while out doing my weekly grocery shopping, and found a nice little hiding spot to keep them safe until, I was alone to do some of my own magic.
I must admit, I was all thumbs, even had trouble doing the basic shuffle, cards were floating out of the deck, but in any magical way, thats for sure.
I found a few videos online, card tricks for beginners, with practice and re-watching the videos till I lost count, my first card trick under my belt, I was excited.
I keep this trick to myself and just kept practicing it, it wasn’t a difficult one to learn, but for me, it was my first, and figured of I can learn one I sure can do another.
Most of the teachings, that can be found online are basic, and with a little practice, not really hard to do.
To really out do my husband and son, I needed to learn some advance, more eye popping tricks.
I purchased a really good book online that I downloaded to my laptop, and I was able to study my next trick right under their noises without them being any the wiser, I was loving it.
I think it took me all of a week, practicing a little each day, and studying from my book, I was mastering a few tricks at a higher level then them.
Finally the day has come, oh, boys come here, got something to show you.
Holding the deck of cards by the edge, between my thumb and middle finger, I softly rubbed the back of the deck with my pointer finger , and slowly a single card from the center of the deck started to wiggle and dance it’s way up.
Jaws dropped, eyes popped, and at the same time, they both blurted out, “how did you do that?” and the next question was, “where did you learn that?”
I just answered, I found a good teacher, and open up my laptop, showed them my secret. Card Magic Revealed, learning cool card tricks.

I am going to teach you this trick I demonstrated few days ago to a pretty nice girl I met on a pub and she genuinely liked it.
This fast, straightforward effect produces a strong impression on the minds of the watchers.
From a shuffled pack of cards a viewer hands the performer any 4 red cards and any 4 black cards. These cards are shuffled all together by both the performer and the spectator. The performing artist puts the packet behind his back and by the sensation of touch alone, divides the red cards from the black.
Part One – Ask an individual to hand you any four red cards which you accept face up in your left hand in the dealing location. In this moment ask for four black cards and while these are being taken from the pile, take the red bundle into your right hand, the right inner corner of the cards surrounded by the first and second thumbs. By pushing down with the thumb, a slight downward bend is placed into the corner of the cards.
Part Two – Extend the left hand to receive the black cards and after that place them at the begining of the red cards in your right hand. Turn the bundle face down so that the bend in the corner of the red cards is at the inner end, and shuffle the pile. Hand the pack to the viewer for shuffling, assuring that it is taken so that, when mixed, the bent corners will still be at the inner end where they will not be discovered. After shuffling, have back the bundle and keep it face down behind. Have each card one by one and look for a modified corner. If a not modified you get it forward, face down, stating “That’s not a colour”, and put it to your right. If it has a modified comer you straighten it, then bring it forward, saying “That’s a colour”, and place it to your left.
Part Three – Finally you will gain a bundle of 4 face down cards to your right and 4 to your left. Move the packets over and spread them to show that you have splited the reds from the blacks. This easy card trick is much more effective in performance than it

How to perform card tricks
Though magic tricks always can be explained with some simple rationale, most of them still amaze me. Years ago, at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair, I was pulled up onto stage by a magician. He somehow seemed to think that my best friend and I would be perfect at demonstrating his new card trick that he’d just learned. Not enjoying being the center of attention, I was not too thrilled to be standing on his stage. But, after I was completely bewildered by his new card tricks, I was happy that I was up close and personal to experience it. He gave my friend and I each four cards. We were instructed to put them in our back pockets. Then, he made a whole deal of reciting some strange ritual and claiming that he was going to move two of her cards into my pocket. I had no idea how that would even be remotely possible. Besides, if anyone was sticking their hands into our pockets, people in the audience would surely witness it. However, when we pulled the cards back out of our pockets, the card trick had worked! I was amazed and incredibly impressed.
Ever since then, card tricks have captured my attention more so than any other form of magic acts. I had to learn exactly how to perform card tricks. Some tricks can be easily figured out and yet others seem to simply be unexplainable. Learning card magic took more then just learning how it was done. I needed a reliable, repeatable system that would teach me to master each portion of the trick consistently. Unfortunately, the internet is so full of bogus tutorials, poorly shot videos and other unhelpful information that I was spending months just wading through all of it before I found anything that remotely helped. While browsing the internet I stumbled upon an awesome eBook that was full of card tricks and they were very easy to learn with the great directions and photographs displayed. I purchased the card magic revealed eBook and in no time i was learning how to perform card tricks.
Now and days, I perform for my family and friends all the time. i even start making money from doing birthday party’s, Venues and even out of my own backyard. I know if I can do it, anyone can do it. Just think, what will it feel like when you can perform incredible card tricks that will amaze your family and friends.

wizardry card tricks are just some of the most typical among many magicians. These tricks are as much fun to observe as they are to perform. There’s nothing more exciting than challenging the senses, emotions, and reasonable probabilities in one’s mind. These are the newbie magic tricks that each wizard starts out with. They are just some of the most simple tricks to learn and test your sorcery skills. You could think that sorcerers use specially marked decks of cards or some other type of rigged deck. This isn’t necessarily the case. Basically, there are very few wizards today that use these decks for their tricks.
Keeping the audience captivated and distracted as well as using well-practiced sleight of hand methodologies are what makes these magic card tricks send a sense of awe into the crowd. These are just some of the steps that folk learning noob wizardry tricks will have to learn and keep working at till they have mastered them. There are many things that you can do when learning these tricks which will only enhance your ability.
The first of these learning steps is practice. As the old chestnut goes, practice is essential. Always remember to never practice in front of an audience. The practice will teach you every part of the trick systematically to perfection. When you have mastered every step of the trick, then you can practice in front of an audience and dazzle them with your sleight of hand movements.
A second step to take in getting a handle on your tricks would be to pace yourself. We want to pace ourselves, so we can get a feel for the cards and the card movement. The cards need to move fluently through our hands and fingers. Practice in front of a mirror moving as slow and fast as we most likely can until we have mastered the movement of the cards with perfect ease. This may be the one step that will make the illusion of your trick perfect.
Practicing in front of a live audience is the ultimate test for performing newbie sorcery tricks. You would like everything to be perfect. An audience can be quite worrying, so we have got to mentally prepare ourselves to have control of the situation. Getting a grip on the magic card tricks as well as the wording for your tricks can be the 2 things which will make your wizardry card trick to be superb and fascinate the fans.
